Red Concert

One of Caleb favorite things to do is something that I have never done before. Go to concerts! I guess being from a small town there's not to many opportunities to go see a real concert. Caleb got the tickets for the night we returned from Louisiana. We had a friend babysit for our first night out together! What an experience.

It was inside and we stopped at three different gas stations to find earplugs but were
unsuccessful. Our ears were ringing the entire ride home.

He was a little excited.

Spring Break

Time to go see Grammy and Grampy, and introduce Isabella to the South. Getting there wasn't the easiest thing in the world that for sure. I proudly packed all of my things in a carry on, but looking back now, I wish I would have checked that darn thing. Carrying all our bags and a baby is not my favorite thing to do. She did very well considering we had a stop in Arizona, but it did help break up the plane ride.

First airplane ride. I felt bad for the people who we sat by, although everyone was super nice, I could just tell that they were thinking 'Great, I have to sit by the baby' Oh well, she was a champ for being so small.

Grampy took her shopping to get a new dress. Thanks Grampy!

Daddy time.

A storm rolled through while we were there, and man was it a good one! It started raining about 11 at night and then the thunder and lightning started around 2. I was wide awake, I've never experience anything like that before. It was SO loud, and non-stop for about 2 hours. Little girl didn't even wake up, thank goodness.

We were so glad to have the chance to go see them. We love Grammy and Grampy time!

3 Months

Time sure isn't slowing down. I have learned so much in the past three month, it's incredible. It is crazy how natural being a mother came (I'm guessing having brothers 10 and 12 years younger than me helped just a bit). I do love that when no one else can make Isabella happy, I can! This little squirt is growing like a weed.

She wouldn't hold still for very long

Another Trip

Caleb wanted to hit Idaho State's job fair to try and recruit some people for his sales team this summer, so we packed our bags, plus five bags for Isabella, and hit the road again. Although Isabella does really good in the car, that trip is wearing me out. I stayed in Grace with my mom and the boys and Caleb stayed in Menan with his Grandma Liz for a few days while trying to recruit. Isabella and I stayed inside most of the time, but we had fun with McCoy and Wes. No luck with the recruiting, so far Caleb only has a girl on his team that Damon Manning recruited from Southern Virginia University.

2 Month Check-Up

This little girl is getting so big! Eight weeks have gone by way to fast. Isabella keeps us on our toes with new tricks almost everyday it feels like. Her two month check up was great other than those blasted shots! She made the saddest little face that made me want to cry myself. Caleb volunteered to hold her while she got her shots, I didn't argue. She is pretty tough though because she didn't cry too long. Here's her stats for her check-up.

A Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!! We added one more Valentine to our list this year and what fun she has been for us.
She is still sleeping most of the day
She makes it pretty easy for us to get a few things done when she's snoozing.

I was able to get decent looking for the day.

And we made homemade Italiano pizza (minus the brick oven and that's the most important part!) Needless to say, it was a fun day putting everything together. Caleb had his favorite of ham and onions and I made one with blackberries on it that I saw on ksl, and it was surprisingly really good. Definitely something we will do again!

A Baby...Blessing!

After much consideration, we decided to bless Isabella in Pocatello, ID where most of our family lives. We were so glad to have so many friends and family there to support us and to catch up with everyone. Getting ready that morning was quite the ordeal though. We bathed her in the hotel sink, she didn't like her dress to well, as we got to the church I discovered she had spit up quite a bit of her breakfast so I hurried and cleaned her up a bit, and last but not least, she cried through most of her blessing.

She fell asleep soon after she was blessed! Silly little girl.
