2 week check up

2 weeks already! We went to the urgent care three times for jaundice. It was a little scary, especially being a new parent, but the test came back positive a she is looking less yellow every day. At her first appointment, she was 8lbs 3oz, back over her birth wieght, yahoo! She's a lengthy little girl and healthy as can be.

Adjusting to parenthood has been easier than expected. I suppose it was the unknown that always had me a little worried. She is such an angel and a sweet, sweet baby.

Rub-a-dub-dub

Isabella loves her bath time. Caleb says she looks like a little frog, hate to admit it, but she does a little! I just love taking care of her and doing the daily tasks with her.

A VERY Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas all by ourselves this year, well the first part of it. Church wasn't until one, so it was fun to have the morning to ourselves. It was fun to start our own little traditions and be with our little family.

Isabella slept through all the excitement of opening presents, but she sure is cute!

I got a xbox kinect, let the fun begin!

First decent family photo

After church, we a few friends brought Christmas dinner for us and we spent the evening with them! Love them for being such great friends and being so kind to us.

Isabella's {BIRTH}day

Wow did 9 months fly by so fast! Here's how Isabella's BIRTHday went. At five in the morning, I woke up feeling like I had just peed the bed! But the spot in our bed wasn't that big, about the size of my hand. I woke up Caleb and told him I thought my water had broke. Both of us were puzzled, so I called my mom. She said to call the hospital. I scrambled to find their number. They said to come in and I would get checked out. After telling Caleb what the nurse said, we decided to shower and eat because you never know how long your day at the hospital will be.
At the hospital, we were taken to a room to get tested to see if my water broke. It came back negative. I was bummed! Then the nurse asked, "Well I can probably pull a few strings around here, do you want to have her today?" AHH!! I didn't hesitate, YES! I blurted back at her. She said to wait a few minutes and she'd call the doctor to see if we could stay. Very shortly, she came back with a sly grin on her face. It's your lucky day, she told us. Your going to have your baby! We were ecstatic!
We left the first floor and headed up to the delivery room. By now we had called both our moms (Carol was in Salt Lake at Linzy's house) and they were both on their way. We got settled into our cute little room, I was hooked up to some IVs and monitors. And the wait began. It was only 9am and after a nurse did a little check, I was still only 2cm dilated, but 90% effaced. I was started on some pitocin to help thing get moving along.

Hooked up in the delivery room

Our doctor came close to 11am to pop my water. After he did, I now know that it didn't pop earlier that morning! No contractions had started, so Caleb and I broke out the cards. Contractions slowly began to start. We (and by we, I mean Caleb) watched some bowl games and sort of relaxed for a while. By 2pm, I had had enough and wasn't going to tough it out any more, bring in the anesthesiologist! All I felt was a cute little pinch and on came the relief. With in a few minutes, I couldn't feel my legs, or contractions!, any more.
Carol, Linzy, and Londyn arrived shortly after that from Lehi, and then my mom showed up all the way from Idaho. Now that baby could make her grand entrance, everyone was there. At 5pm, I was 5cm dilated and the nurse informed me I'd progress a cm an hour. Another 5 HOURS, I thought. I was exhausted. I decided to take a little snooze. A nurse came to check on me at 8pm to see how things were moving along. Linzy and Carol jokingly said "Think 10cm!" and what would you know I was fully dilated to 10cm!! I was a little groggy from my nap, but this baby was ready to be here (still unnamed by the way).

10cm, here comes a baby!

After a little practice push the nurse told me to stop, she needed to get the doctor. He was out to dinner and arrived in 15 minutes. He suited up and at 8:24pm our sweet Isabella Grace was born. The doctor said is was an almost textbook perfect delivery. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Flag Football

As the semester is winding down, Caleb could pass up an opportunity to play football one more time. Since it was flag football I wasn't as nervous as I am in real football games... Well, I should have been.
Just as the game is winding down, one more play can be squeezed in to see if their team can score one more touchdown to make the blow out an even better one. The ball was thrown to Caleb and some airhead has to come full speed to try and get his flag. They end up colliding shoulder to face! And no, Caleb's shoulder wasn't in the equation. After having a little freak out, I gathered my things so we could get those three front teeth fixed. After calling both our mother's to see where we should go or what to do, we called our landlord who is a dentist. He very kindly left his kids' recital (they hadn't started yet thank heavens) to come help us out. He met us at our house to see what needed to be done. He said that the teeth had been knocked out of their sockets. (Who knew teeth had sockets? Not me!) He tried to pull them back into place at our house, but it was to painful, so over to the office we went.

At our landlord's office before getting his front teeth pulled back into place.

After an x-ray, a shot, and a little yank, Caleb's teeth were back in their normal place.

Later that night as we were talking, we both we afraid that Caleb would have no teeth when the baby was born. He said we would have to move to Louisiana so we didn't look out of place when a dad has no front teeth in a family picture. Anyway, our landlord said they'd be fine, maybe a root canal in the future, but hey, at least my husband has teeth for now!

Baby Shower #2, 39 Weeks

My wonderful friends of St. George threw another shower for me!
Eating came first, popcorn because I was about ready to pop, and then the games! Seeing who could stuff the most balloons in their shirt to look like me was definitely my favorite one. So thankful for the ladies and for the great time we had.

There's light at the end of the tunnel, 38 weeks

Well I'm really pregnant now and am ready to have this baby! We were able to take some pictures thanks to Alyssa Ence!I just love how they turned out. It's so surreal that this baby will be here so soon. We went to the city park to take these pictures.
Although I love this picture, getting up off the ground after wasn't so easy!

Can't wait to see him with our baby girl!

Baby Shower!

Linzy threw a awesome baby shower for me while we were up there during Thanksgiving. Taya, Jen, Jesika and her girls, Grandma Liz, Teri and my mom were all able to make it since everyone was up for turkey day and Carol was there via skype. We started by having some really yummy chicken salad sandwiches with fruit and dip.
We played games like guess the baby food and remember what's in the diaper bag. Next was presents! There were so many cute little clothes. They were so tiny it's crazy to think our little girl will fit in them. One of my favorite gifts was the crib bedding from Carol.
Can't believe we are going to be parents! Especially with a dad-to-be face like that!

So glad my mom could make it! Love her so much!

Thanksgiving 2011

This year we were able to see pretty much everyone in one trip! That doesn't happen very often. We left St. George Friday after classes to go to Lehi to begin our holiday. We stayed we Linzy and her family for the first few days mostly playing with Londyn and Jackson and just hanging out.
Then we headed to Pocatello to stay with Aaron for a few nights. While we were there little Kord man had his first birthday. At the party we were able to see my mom and little brothers, Dad and Ronda, and Grandma and Grandpa Perry. Barrett followed Caleb around like a shadow the whole time. He wouldn't even let him go to the store without going with him. We even babysat (while all the kids were asleep) so Lynzi could go watch Aaron play basketball.
Thanksgiving eve we headed back to Salt Lake. We stopped at Taya's to see the whole family. We ate dinner, kids first then adults, then all the kids stole Caleb to play basketball and football. We spent that night back at Linzy's but then went straight back to Taya's for Thanksgiving day. This time there were three different tables set up so we didn't have to eat in rounds. The rest of the day was spent watching the football game and playing games like what if and mexican race horse. My horse's name was ahted. Caleb had once again little shadows following him around the whole time. All those kids just love him to death.
We came back Saturday to give us time to unwind from our crazy families! The next time we see everyone we will have a little baby!

Caleb's Senior Day

Although the football season hasn't been going that great, we still love our boy!
I have loved watching Caleb play, but I am also glad that it's over too. Definitely a bittersweet day for my sweetheart!

Happy Halloween from Humpty Dumpty and...

Well we are very great procrastinators and didn't get our costumes ready until the day of Halloween. I knew what I wanted to be all along but that just shows you how determined I am when I'm prego. Nonetheless, my costume turn out pretty good, and well I don't really know what Caleb was going for on this one. He says alligator hunter, I think he didn't have a plan!
We spent the night at the Young's house eating great food and playing games. The favorite of the night was What If.

Bump Update, 31 weeks

This is week #31. Still no other symptoms other than that nasty heart burn. My belly is growing steadily and Caleb has fun pretending to be me!

Much Needed Visit from the Family

Spud harvest started in Grace, so that means my family was able to come and visit for the weekend. I think McCoy and Wes grew a foot since I seen them last in August.

This first picture sums up the whole visit, gum from Wes in Caleb's hair... yes gum! We all want to know exactly what was going through Wes' mind when he did that but nonetheless, peanut butter does get gum out of hair just fine.

Most of the days started off with a swim that the boys thoroughly enjoyed and most of the time they were able to talk me and Mom into getting in with them.

I was able to catch my mom and her magic of walking on water! I don't know a cooler mom out there who can do this :) The blow up beach ball was also a hit trying to stay on top before flipping over.

Caleb had a home game Saturday as well. McCoy and Wes wore themselves out at the tailgate party before.

Burn Baby Burn

Well I officially have had my pregnancy symptoms, which have avoided me this far, finally catch up.
My first pleasant surprise was waking up to a horrendous cramp my in calf one morning that lasted for a good 5 minutes. And it even felt bruised a few days after. Thankfully Carol, my mother-in-law advised me to stretch just one leg at a time in the morning and not both. It's worked so far!
And heartburn has been a killer lately. It was so bad Caleb had to bring me some Zantac at work. Sleeping sitting up has not been fun. But what can I say its all been worth it and will definitely be worth it when she gets here.

26 week, 3 months to go and the wait will be over! :)

One Year Older and Wiser... Well We'll See

My wonderful, fabulous, amazing husband just celebrated his birthday 25th birthday. While presents ranged from phone gadgets to our baby's crib. (yes a CRIB!.. I'm so excited although he wasn't all that impressed it had to be for his birthday)
We spend the afternoon with family, eating and taking a drive to snow canyon, and just hanging out.

I'm so lucky to have married such a wonderful man. Happy 25th!!

Ready to Rumble

This past weekend Caleb's parents came to visit as well as Linzy and her family for his first football game and birthday.

So far, all of camp has turned out really well for Caleb, lots of playing time and he's doing outstanding. Lots of the players as well as some of the coaching staff has been impressed with his performance. He has a starting spot, finally!, and we all have high hopes that this season will go great.

Turns out the first game, the team resorted back to old habits and they lost, 24-14 to Adam State. Caleb really didn't get his chance to shine so hopefully a week of practice will get the team re-grouped and they'll get a W against Colorado Mess.

24 weeks

Nothing too exciting about this check-up. My weight and blood pressure was taken like usual and I had my belly measures for the first time. We did hear her heartbeat though, and that's always re-assuring.

But I can't complain, everything has been so wonderful this far. I can really feel her moving around and about 6am, 11am and 11pm she is out of control. Nothing is going to stop this child.

Chug that water.

So I got called into work to do some data entry junk the other day. No big deal I thought, well I was wrong.
I thought I was going to be able to sit in the back office at the computer there, but I ended up having to use the computers in the front so I had to stand. Still not worried though, it was only going to take me 20-30 minutes then I could go home.

Well Mallory, my co-worker, decided to go check the laundry while it was slow at the front so she could have something to do. A little while after she left, I had been standing for 10 minutes max at this time, a guest walks through the door to check in.

Immediately as I start checking her in, I start feeling dizzy and light headed. I told myself "it only takes two minutes to check someone in and you'll be fine!" Well as I'm just about to show her where she needs to sign and write her vehicle info down... I black out. "NOT GOOD" is what I think to myself. I tell her I need to sit down and stumble my way to the back (still not seeing) somehow and tell Mallory to come to the front.

By the time she gets there, I'm in tears but I can at least see now. I call Caleb to come pick me up and we stop by the doctors office to see what's wrong. .... Dehydration, is what the nurse says is wrong with me. I felt like a wimp! I even teared up while telling her my story.

My ability to control my hysteria that day was on the low side, but I have been drinking more water though, one of the hardest things ever!

Practicing for the real thing.

Well Caleb is starting to practice on how to hold the baby. I'm afraid Sitka is going to be real jealous when daddy is playing with his little girl and not with her.

Doing good so far. I can't wait to see my baby girl in his arms.

Another First Day of School

School has started once again. Caleb and I both have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's so nice to be able to have the days off in between, we both love sleeping in!

I'm loving classes so far, because I'm done with generals and I'm actually studying what my degree is in.
Caleb, once again, doesn't even have buy books for his classes, and cine home with no homework... lucky! Only 2 more semesters and he's done... yay!

We are lucky enough to take institute together as well. We listened to the first part of the dramatized doctrine and covenants this summer so I thought it would be good to study D&C while it's still fresh in our minds. I can't wait to dig in and learn some new things.

Lagoon & Zoo

Our last, well our one only for a matter of fact, vacation for the summer we packed up the silver bullet and headed up north at the spur of the moment. We had one free weekend between summer work and football.
What was supposed to be a little get together with my mom and little brothers, turned into all my brothers my grandma and my aunt. It was a nice surprise.
Two days of lagoon and a trip to he zoo couldn't have ended the summer any better.

21 weeks

Here's the latest on our sweet little girl!

She's got her father's nose!!

Long athletic legs! (If she does anything else, like dance or cheerleads.... I'm going to be no help, so hopefully she's athletic)

I can't wait to kiss these little toes!

18 weeks

First belly picture!! It was a quick shot before church, but it captures the growing little one. I bought a few new shirts which are so much more comfortable than my other ones. Caleb calls it my beer belly! While I don't enjoy the name as much, we both like to see that our baby girl is growing and is healthy.

Is it a BOY or a GIRL????

July 12th was my 17th week check up at the doctor, the check up we got to find out what we were having. I think I was ready by 8:00am that morning and the appointment wasn't until 9:20. Although we both had a feeling that it was going to be a boy, we couldn't wait.

We sat down in the ultrasound room, like little kids on Christmas morning. Except this present is soooo much more exciting. Caleb could barely sit still. I was trying really hard not to move so Bobbie, the ultrasound tech, could do her thing. She poured that nasty jelly and then there was baby was on the big screen on the other wall. The first thing I saw were two little legs and a bum. Oh good, I thought, it's going to be crystal clear. And this is what we see...

Yeah, not crystal clear. But Bobbie says it's a GIRL!! I'm still afraid a little wee is going to pop up next time so we'll see. I am excited though because she will be the first granddaughter on my Mom's side. I've already bought a few nightgowns and some cute outfits.

We were taken in the another room to wait for a doctor. Caleb is still in shock but then he gets on his phone to call his parents. The first thing I think of is that neither of us can agree on a girl's name. Only time will tell and I'm sure we will come up with something.

Fourth of July

We both agreed that we needed a break from the St. George heat and work, so we decided to take a vacation to go see the family in good old Idaho. Every summer the Hargraves family have their little reunion that includes Caleb's grandpa's siblings and they're families.

Caleb's mom was in Lehi with his sister Linzy so we stayed with her Friday night to stay and visit with them. While we were packing, I was so worried what Caleb had packed that I completely forgot to pack my garments. Luckily Linzy had some that she had never worn that would suffice for the night and I could get some in Pocatello the next day. We spent the afternoon at Ross Park visiting with family, well I did, all the little kidos wouldn't leave Caleb alone. At least they can keep him busy and wear him out. That night we made our way the Menan to spend the night with Caleb's grandma.

Sunday the whole gang went to church with Grandma Liz. We took up 2 benches and there were kids every where. Caleb was able to ordain his cousin from Boise to a teacher that day too. Boy, was he nervous. He read the proper wording over and over and over, but when it came down to it he sounded like he'd done it a hundred times. Gotta love those sweet moments in life. Then it was time for food! Being a fast Sunday, everyone ate like wolves when we got back to the house.

Monday the 4th, we slept in late and let the rest of the family go eat at the park breakfast. Once we were showered and all I made our own pancake breakfast, which was just a good if you ask me. We walked over to the park to enjoy the rest of the day. We met up with the rest of the family and made our way through the crowd to look at all the booths. I found the Navajo taco stand and I knew that's what I wanted for lunch. We all grabbed what we wanted and sat in the middle of the park to listen to Grandma Liz sing with her barber shop group. They were so cute and Grandma Liz was getting into it, Caleb couldn't help but teasing her a little after they were done. We walked back to the house to grab a drink then sit out by the road for the parade. Caleb's mom, Carol, and Linzy carried a big umbrella over from the house. It was so nice to sit in the shade during the parade! Why didn't I ever think of that? All the grown ups were just as excited about the candy as the kids were and picked out some favorites and put the rest in the kids bags. Some things we never out grow.

We packed up and headed to Salt Lake to stay with Aunt Taya to watch the firework and also to break up the trip a bit. We watched the Sugarhouse Park firework and the day was finally over. We were both exhausted but so glad we got to spend the weekend with our family!

Tuacahn Date Night

So one of the new perks of working at the hotel is FREE tickets to Tuacahn! I was so excited when I was told that but tried not to act too excited, but hey, I love getting stuff for free, who doesn't. We grabbed some Panda Express on the way out and sat and eat in the parking lot before we went in. We got out tickets from the will call window and found out way to our seats.

The play started at 8:45 so it was a little warm for the first bit. After the sun went down, it was perfect! We sat in the upper corner, but the actors were on the stage, on the ship and in the castle so we could see everything just fine. Right before the show started, Caleb leaned over and said "I wonder how they are going to 'swim' around?" The first scene with the musical celebration of King Tritan, all the girls come out in those wheely shoes with they're mermaid tails straight behind them. Now I'm not a musical/play person, but I admit that they did an amazing job with everything. Caleb liked Sebastian the best because he had a Jamaican accent.

It was so nice to have our little date night and for free :)

Ultrasound #2... It looks like a baby now!

Our 2nd ultrasound was Friday. I was so excited! I was sure what was going to happen, but I knew I was going to see an actual baby this time instead of a gummy bear. As soon as Bobbi, the ultrasound tech, put the handle thingy on my stomach we saw the baby bouncing up and down like a jelly bean! I turned to Caleb and said, yup the baby has your personality! It was just so cute I couldn't believe it. There were no signs of boy or girl yet, so we'll see in another 4 weeks.

12 Weeks

Well I can surely say that the St. George summer is here. Turn up the AC please! Although I have a love hate relationship with all the air conditioned building here because you walk in from 100 + degree weather into an ice box it feels like so I end up taking a jacket with me when the temperature never drops below 80, crazy I know.

Since school ended, we have been just working and relaxing. Caleb has been doing great with his summer sales with Living Scriptures, and I had only been getting about 5 to 10 hours a week at the Polo Outlet Store. So I started looking for a job, again.  I got a job at the Crystal Inn here in town doing front desk work (something that I have been looking for for a long long time). It's so ironic too because as I was filling out their ridiculously long application online, I found myself thinking 'why am I even wasting an hour on this stupid application, everyone knows that online applications go to some headquarter out of town and you never get a call for the job.' Needless to say, the Lord has a sense of humor and plenty of blessing to give.

As far as the baby goes, I doing great compared to some of the stories I hear. I have been able to keep every single meal down and only experience nausea when my stomach is empty or I've eaten too much. Just lately, Caleb hates taken me out to each because I say that I'm starving then only eat about a third of my meal, but then I'm hungry again in a few hours. Eating has become a dang chore! I whine a lot because of this hoping that Caleb will make me something... but I think you can imagine the response I get :)

Next week we have another appointment and will be able to see the baby a little bit more clearly instead of the gummy bear picture we got last time. I'm not sure what exactly goes on at this one so I will just wait and see. In 5 weeks is when we find out the sex I'm pretty sure. I just had another dream a few nights ago, a more vivid one this time, that it was a boy. Somehow in my dream, I didn't know what I had a few hours after giving birth, so she had to tell me. Weird I know. We do have a boy's name picked out if that's what it happens to be. Caleb's sweet grandpa Britt passed away a year and a have ago now, and how he adored him. He mentioned it to his mom and she said would be honored! So we've had that name picked out for awhile. Then while we were driving one time talking about it, I remembered my mom wanting to name one of my little brothers Perry after her maiden name. Caleb didn't like it as a first name, but I said well maybe as a middle name. As soon as heard myself say Britt Perry aloud, I fell in LOVE.

As for a girls name, well nothing like the sentimental name that we have for a boy. I like Clara or Clair and I'm pretty sure a Grace or Gracie will make it in there somewhere :).

My belly is growing, I can tell when some days it's hard to button my pants and I have to use a rubber band! I feel like it's different every day due to bloating and depending how much I eat. I sure hope that's normal to fit into your jeans one day and not the next and back again. That's one question I will ask the doc. Other than the normal tiredness and finding a comfortable position to sleep in that's been going on for that past month or so, that's all that's new. We are loving life!

Where have the weeks gone!?!

I was doing so good at keeping updated, but then a little thing called life happened. School is done, well has been done for two weeks now and we both pulled A's and B's (yes Caleb got a better gpa than I did, but his classes are easier!) After our finals were over we headed to Idaho for a little break and to visit family. Caleb took the xbox which entertained him, McCoy and Wes for most of the evenings. Roven did get out the guns to shoot and that made Caleb really happy. Wes made sure he was right there telling him that if he missed the target that he was a bad shot. Thank you Wes for your never failing honesty :)

Friday we headed to Poky for my nephew Carson's birthday party. They had the party at a gym type thing, so after messing around in a foam pit and the trampoline's for an hour, it was time for presents. After opening everyone's presents except for the one's from his parents, we gave him a little certificate. It said: Congratulations Carson, Barrett and Kord, you can redeem this certificate for one new cousin. Expires December 17. Yup, we are having a baby!! We still can't believe it, but neither could anyone else. I think we told everyone in St. George before my family knew, but I just wanted to tell them in person. So we kept the secret for 8 weeks and mom couldn't believe that I didn't tell her. I even started crying, what a baby!! Sure wish I could turn the water works off sometimes, but I really haven't been that bad. It was so good to finally tell everyone.

Saturday, Caleb and I went back to Poky to hang out with Aaron and Lynzi and watch their boys' little league games. After spending all day with them, I want to move home! Hopefully in the near future, we'll make our way up there. After the weekend, Caleb had sales training in Ogden for the Living Scriptures for his job for the summer. I let him take the car and convinced my mom to take me to Ogden in a few days when he was done.

After making it back to warm country, we had our first ultrasound appointment! We heard the heart beat and saw the little gummy bear hanging out down there. Caleb said he lost his breath when he heard the heart beat. Precious! I think I was in more pain at the moment than worrying about the heart beat. The tech was pushing so hard on my stomach, it was so uncomfortable. But looking back, how amazing it was to hear that heart beat of another human inside of me. We both think it's a boy. Caleb had a dream that the new born boy was talking to him, not very realistic but hey it was a boy. I just have a a really strong feeling that it is, and also taking a look at my family boys are definitely dominate. Only time will tell.

My days now are filled with a lot of free time since Caleb is gone from 9 to 9. I am determined to fill them with talent building projects. We had a lesson in relief society which motivated me to make good use of my time and put it to good use. I'm working on crocheting a blanket right now and hopefully a few baby blanket will be completed by the end of the summer. I need to do all my baby projects now while I still have time before fall semester and football starts :)

Family, Family and more Family!

Well since spring break, we've had family down here ever since! It's been so nice to see everyone and has made the weeks go by so fast.

For our spring break, my mom, her parents and my little brothers all came down to party with us. It wasn't too warm but compared to Idaho they were loving it! We spent the week doing everything it seemed like. McCoy and Wes spent the night with us the first night to give the grown-ups a break from all their cooped up energy from the long drive. They of course we're content with playing xbox with Caleb for the night which I didn't mind one bit. They loved having someone else besides each other to play with. We went out to Zion's National Park and hiked one of the easy hikes with everyone so even grandma and grandpa could join us. That night we stayed in the park. Mom, grandma and grandpa stayed in a hotel and we stayed.... in a tent! And boy was is cold. It probably got down to the 30s with the wind chill. Caleb and I could keep each other warm but we packed on the blankets on McCoy and Wes. Nevertheless, we all enjoyed our little camping adventure. Everyone spent a few more days here then had to head back to Idaho.

Caleb's grandma Liz brought his cousins down for 4 days just a couple weeks later. We took them up to the Dixie State rock to climb around on the rocks around there.

We are so thankful for our families and pray that we move closer to our family soon!

Cooking Adventures!

So the picture below is chicken cordon blue, which I made for V day. I'd have to admit that I was pretty impressed with myself for that one! Last night I tried to make potato gnocchi with a walnut pesto sauce.... It needs some work haha! Caleb said it was good but I could tell it wasn't the best. Hopefully I'll become a pro soon!

Valentine's Day

Catching Up

So obviously the past 5 months have been extremely busy because I haven't been on here since! Football season was fun, even though not to many games were won, hopefully the upcoming year will be a lot better with Caleb being a senior and all.

Thanksgiving was spent up in Idaho with my family. we enjoyed the time off and tried to see as much family as possible. For the christmas break, we flew to Louisiana for the break. We hung out with all the Caples and had tons of fun. We took an air boat ride through the swamp which was awesome! It felt like a fourwheeler but just sliding over glass. We didn't see any alligators because it was to cold, but our tour guide told us to come back in the summer to do a night tour and we could even bring a case of beer! We'll probably pass on the beer but I'd definitely go back for a night tour and catch a gator! We spent a few days in Houston before coming home and starting school again.

Our Valentine's Day yesterday was spent pretty much all day together besides leaving for a few classes and Caleb's football workouts. We ate yummy cordon blue chicken on the back porch by candle light! Life couldn't be better!
